The documentary provides an all encompassing analysis of the phenomenon of child abduction, to expose the shattering impact of abduction on the whole family, something surprisingly never done before.
As parental child abduction continues to be on the increase its devastating, psychological impact on all the family members involved is not well understood. Through this film, PACT states that they “hope to make a major contribution to preempting abductions, to encouraging mediation between warring parents, and to advancing a clearer understanding of what is truly in the best interests of the child”.
The charity’s next step is to distribute this film as widely as possible and put it forward to film festivals.
